Google share button not showing in Chrome browser

  I have enabled the Google+ share button and it shows up in the live preview but doesn’t appear on the live blog. It’s working fine in Firefox but does not appear in Chrome. I have cleared the browser history, cookies, cache, etc…Suggestions?

  Hey there,

  I’m having no problems seeing the Google+ button in Chrome–here’s a screenshot of what I see. Are you still having this issue? If so, what version of Chrome are you using?

  Hello,

  Here’s what I see — no google+ button. I’m only having the issue on this pc. My laptop browser is showing the buttons just fine. Using Chrome 21.0.1180.83 m, Windows 7 on both computers. I wonder what would be causing this issue? I have no ad/script block. I wonder if this also affects any other UI appearances? Strange.

  SOLVED

  I’m a dummy. Upon perusing my Chrome extensions, I found that I had one called “Disconnect” installed that was blocking Google tracking. Disabling the extension cured my problem. Funny how it didn’t block the Facebook button as well. Perhaps they use a different cookie protocol…
