Google widget?
-
hi the situation is this, i have a google+ business page and i want to link it to the blog. like the facebook widget or the twitter widget..
By adding a short line of code to http://www.tourismisawesome.wordpress.com, you can make your Google+ page eligible to show up on the right-hand side of the Google search page for relevant queries and make your Google+ page more discoverable. Learn more
Ask your site’s webmaster to add the following line of code to your site’s homepage:
Google+The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Let me know if you need help with that.

And yet you’ve managed to add the Twitter Timeline widget to your site’s sidebar. :)
Just take it step-by-step. The most important points are that:
1. in order to get the code from the Google Developer’s page, be logged in to Google with the account that you want to create the widget with. That means for Pages, you need to be logged in with that account. Alternately, you can add the URL of the G+ Page by selecting “Other” in the drop down menu where your G+ profile name appears.
2. Select the “Icon” option, not the Badge option.
3. If you wish, you can add text like “See our Page on” or “Follow me on” in the Custom Name field.
4. Copy all the resulting code from the box under the icon to your clipboard.
5. Go back to your site’s Widget Dashboard on WordPress.com and add a Text Widget to your site’s sidebar.
6. Paste the code you copied from G+ Developers page into the Text Widget and save it.Since you are new, I suggest reviewing the tutorial that WordPress.com has written for newcomers. You can find it at http://learn.wordpress.com/
