gravatar avatar blavatar (?) not appearing

I’ve looked on other threads but can’t quite figure out if I’m doing everything right.
I had a blavatar/gravatar of a little orange-faced girl. I am trying to change it to look like an image I found with a girl with horns.
I changed my blavatar, and it is working. It appears on the sidebar of my blog’s web address.
The gravatar will not change. The image of the orange girl is still on my blog and appearing when I post.
What’s the deal? I changed the image in both places. Any advice? Here’s my blog: http://paperfruit.wordpress.com/
As you can see, the horn girl is in the web bar, but the orange girl still appears on the sidebar of my blog.

Ack! See? It’s not even appearing beside my name here when I’m posting. What’s the dilly-o?

I see it in the sidebar now, too. Now what’s weird is my avatar here is the same as the one in my dashboard, but that used to be a gravatar. . . weird. Maybe it will come soon.
