Gravatar confirmation mail missing

  Been trying for months to add a new email address to Gravatar but I never get the confirmation mail. Not in spam/junk, no filters, not blacklisted by me or my host. It just doesn’t arrive. Mail works fine elsewhere. Resend doesn’t help. Sometimes I get blocked because I try too many times. Have absolutely no idea what is going on.
