Gravatar: I cannot connect the e-mail address from a closed account to a new acc

I have two accounts on Gravatar, let’s call them (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I created the new account for (email visible only to moderators and staff) by mistake, I meant to just include the new e-mail address in my original account.Realizing my mistake, I deleted the new account.
Now, when I try to add (email visible only to moderators and staff) to my existing account, I get this error message:
This email is already connected to a Gravatar account.
How can I completely get rid of this account created by mistake? I cannot log in to that account anymore.

If I understand this documentation correctly, it will take a couple of weeks before the account is completely removed:
Closing your account deletes all sites you own and all their contents. After a few weeks, the data will be entirely purged from our system, and at this point, the process cannot be reversed.
