Gravatar keeps telling me I have to re-send a confirmation email, and won't let me into the sit

    I’m trying to log in. Gravatar gives me this error:
    ‘We sent you a confirmation email!
    We sent an email to ________ when you signed up for Gravatar.
    In this email you will find a link that, when clicked, will bring you back to a confirmation page. Once you’ve confirmed your email, you can start using Gravatar.’

    I have re-sent the confirmation and followed the link multiple times, and WordPress tells me I have confirmed my account, but Gravatar continues to insist I need to re-activate. How do I fix this?
