    A friend of mine reached out and says she keeps being redirected to a gravatar when she wants to read my content. I looked up how to turn off the gravatar, but the function is not found. Can you tell me how to do that?

    We’ll need some more information to figure out what’s going on here.

    First, on what site is this? And what does your friend mean by when she wants to read your content? Is this happening when she types your site’s URL in her browser? When she clicks a link on Facebook or an email notification?

    There is no way to disable Gravatar on WordPress.com, as a WordPress.com username account and a Gravatar profile are the same thing. But the only time someone should be directed to Gravatar from your site, is if they click on the username of a commenter who hasn’t linked their username to a website in their WordPress.com account.
