    I cannot upload a Gravator

    Same here.
    I have several users on my site who change their gravatars occasionally without problems and they are all reporting that the “Change Gravatar” link simply re-displays the page.

    All my users are aware of the need to clear cache and cookies etc and that gravatars can take a while to appear. However, the problem is that they cant even get as far as being able to upload a new picture.

    I notice that there are other threads on the forum saying pretty much the same thing, so it would appear that it is a problem at WordPress….

    Hi !!! Thank you for your reply….for some obsurd reason Ive figured it out, an email verification is sent to your email address and you need to activate and log in to Gravatar in order to upload a picture…I am so sorry I am vague, I wish I had more info for you

    Oh yes – I saw that “force-by-email reference in the link associated with “Change Gravatar”, but I didn’t realise that that was new.

    This is exactly what’s happening to me but I’m not getting the email. I’ve verified that the email address associated to my account is correct. How did it take for you to get the email?

    And by the way, I need to change it because the one I had disappeared. How did that happen?

    Hi !! I’m
    Not sure as to why your not receiving the email , I would ask for support from WordPress as it worked fine with me ?!?!
    Once I received the email , I verified it then it asked me to put my WordPress username/password to enter another site for Gravator which in turn allowed my pic to be uploaded …. I’m sorry I can’t help you further !

    You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

    Blog notifications for the Admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

    Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

    Please also check in your email client spam filter in case the email you cannot locate is in there. I’ll tag this thread for a heads up for Staff. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

    @nikiheydarl – It looks like your original question was resolved, and I see that you’ve uploaded a Gravatar image. Please let me know if you’d like any further help with this!

    @d4mugs and @theagileproductowner – There was a temporary issue with the “Change Gravatar” link, but we’ve made a fix that should resolve that problem. Can you let me know if you are still having trouble with this? Thanks!
