Group sites with admin access

  Greetings,

  I work in higher ed. Each year I support a group of 10-20 students who create WordPress eportfolios. In past years I’ve used a hosting provider who gave us free instances of WordPress for a year. This year we opted to use WordPress.com sites but soon ran into limitations because we couldn’t add plugins, etc. We’re just wondering if WordPress has any type of program for education/non-profits where we could have a group of sites.

  I’m not necessarily trying to find something on the cheap. I could find funds to pay for hosting. I’m more interested in admin access where one or two of us could have admin level access to help support students.

  Does this make sense?
