Gutenberg Editor

    Hi,

How do I go back to the Gutenberg editor? I accidentally switched my editor to the classic one and I want to go back. After looking for the option in the settings and searching for an answer in Google, I wasn’t able to find a way to do it.

Is it really that complicated to go back to Gutenberg?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

Of what site are you speaking? If I click on http://studio627.com.ph/ it takes me to a registrar landing page that says the domain is for sale.

How you do this would depend on what version of WordPress you’re using.

If you’re working on a site hosted on our servers on WordPress.com, when you go to My Site ->Site ->Posts ->Add New to create a new post, there should be a prompt in the editor sidebar allowing you to switch back to the block editor.

If you’re using the open source WordPress.org software at another host, the block editor is the default, and the only way you could have switched away from it is by installing the Classic Editor plugin. That plugin allows you to specify if you want the classic or block editor as the default at WP-Admin ->Settings ->Writing, or you can just disable that plugin at WP-Admin ->Plugins ->Installed plugins
