Hacked Account?

Hello! This morning about 4AM, I received a notification from my app that this account followed my wordpress.org blog of the same name. However, I haven’t accessed this wordpress.com account ever since I started my wordpress.org account mid-August. And since then, I’ve made this blog private. Could I have possibly been hacked? Is my wordpress.org blog at risk as well? I’ve already changed the passwords to new ones as a safety precaution.

Hi @stephaniecyap, I don’t see anything fishy; just an update of your email address here.
You do automatically follow your own connected sites in the reader (so you can see what they look like) but that’s been more than a year. My guess it that there was just a misfire in the notification. Still, it’s never a bad idea to update your password now and then! And if you’d like, you can enable two-step authentication as well:
