hacked by theme?? Hosting issue due to hack

  After we found out that our sites where hacked – we asked the hosting to replace the backup for the malicious content.
  we received this email.

  Now, my question is:
  – can hosting do this?
  – can it be hacked trough the mentioned theme?
  – what can i do?

  While investigating your issue we have found your account is totally compromised and we have found the directory bca under theme zeereputation in which there is symlinks created for other accounts on server to put hacking contents for wordpress and joomla site.

  Following is the folder under which symlinks are created on server.
  /home/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/zeereputation/bca

  We have checked on our server for other wordpress accounts on server and seems they got hacked due to your domain on server.
  Sorry but we do not allow compromised account on our server which has already cause a big issue for our clients.

  We have to terminate the account on server, you can download the backup of your account using url:
  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  In order to activate account on server you will have to download the backup on your local machine then scan it remove the malicious files and contents from
  and you need to pay 75GBP.
