hacked-looking comments

  I have a series of ‘comments’ that appear in my notification stream, that don’t appear in my comments when I go into the dashboard. I have to approve comments unless previously recognized.
  How do I get rid of these which are in a ‘blue’ notification box, but I don’t recognize the image/name of the sender, and don’t like having these gibberish, with lots of kisses, items.
  I feel like my wordpress blog has been hacked. Which happened with a another blog several years ago.
  How do I delete something that appears only in the notification stream? How do I protect myself from this happening again as it is a comment that should have been approved, but wasn’t.

  Hi @in25wordsmoreorless, can you confirm this is with http://in25wordsmoreorless.wordpress.com/ ? Also can you get a screenshot of what you’re seeing, and upload it to your media area so we can take a look?
