Hacker (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    I’ve just received an email from (email visible only to moderators and staff) giving me my user name and password to wordpress!! I’m on my mobile and can’t seem to change my login deets. How can I track what this person has done on my account?

    Hi there,

    I can assure you that no one changed your account details or accessed your account here at WordPress.com before you sent in this support request. I do see that your account password was changed about 13 hours ago (after sending this support request). If you didn’t make that change, please reset the password on your email address and then reset your WordPress.com account password here:

    I also checked the site http://www.primalpalate.com/ (linked to the email address you mentioned). That site is a self-hosted WordPress site, using the free software from WordPress.org. If you set up an account on that site, that’s completely separate from the account you have here at WordPress.com. The login details used for that site won’t affect the login details you use for your account here.
