had a photo header, but it disappeared…What should I do to retrieve it?

  I started my blog with a nice photo of a lake from land. It disappeared after I seemed to purchase a domain (since that doesn’t seem to be online, I’m not sure where the breakdown occurred. I’m hoping I didn’t actually pay for that)… Still, it’s a mystery as to where the perfect photo went! Ideas???? Ro

  Did you switch to a different theme recently? What do you mean by “I seemed to purchase a domain?”

  I did switch to a different theme, but after I went to WordPress.com, filling my “cart” with the domain name, “GoodGriefs.org,” and an $8 per yr. Privacy protection… (the seeming to purchase entailed giving my prrsonal info. incl card $info. & having it “go through checkout”)… I am baffled! Hv you any ideas??? Your input is most welcome : ) Ro

  Changing the theme might very well have resulted in the disappearance of the header image. However, you should be able to apply a custom header of your choice to the site with the P-2 theme activated.

  Purchasing a domain would have no effect upon the visibility of the header, but if you seek an explanation of the purchase you describe you might want to call for staff attention by adding a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic.

  Thank you! I’m not yet sure what P2 is but I am quite sure that I’ve seen it somewhere on my site. Right now, I’m feeling rather lost (a good plc to be whn you enjoy discovery, though it can feel uncomfortable at times). Headers? I’ve been trying to figure out how to get one up. Ironically(?) it was easier whn I wasn’t trying so hard! I appreciate your help, and will continue to work on that as I feel stronger.

  You have the P-2 theme activated. It’s credited in the gray area at the bottom of your site. See the Themes support page for instructions on switching from one theme to another.

  Headers? I’ve been trying to figure out how to get one up.
