Harvesting inactive blog – Trademark issues

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

So I am the CloudStack Community Manager (http://cloudstack.org)
So while trying to create a gravatar account for CloudStack to use on the project’s I found that someone had registered cloudstack.wordpress.org.
This appears to be a recent registration (less than a month) and there is no content, suggesting a squatter/spam issue.
In addition, CloudStack is a trademark of Citrix Systems, and has existed since around 2008 (previously owned by Cloud.com), and we’re interested in preserving that.

So what can I do to harvest that accountname? Is there a process similiar to Twitters where you can identify/verify yourself?

    Thanks,

    David Nalley

You will have to contact staff directly, if you are part of Citrix Systems. They will have to initiate this.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ , search for anything, scroll down and click “no” and the contact form will appear.
