Have a domain registered with WordPress but wish to use a Weebly hosted site.

    I hope you can help, very stuck and not at all technically minded.

    I created a website with Weebly – http://www.hellobygones.weebly.com

    and need to point my domain to their servers. Can you set this up for me? I need to create A-Records for “www” and for my root domain. That’s one record for “www” pointing to 199.34.228.59. And one record for the root domain pointing to 199.34.228.59.

    Note that I want to keep using you as my domain registrar. I am not requesting a transfer and do not have new name servers to provide you.

    Hi there, I’ve updated your DNS records to point to Weebly. You’ll need to also activate domain mapping over at Weebly to be sure your domain is properly connected on their end. You may also need to clear your browser’s cache: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

    Thanks Kathryn. I have endeavored to make the changes within Weebly, though when altering the domain mapping it advised me to email this information to you as domain registrar. Not sure if this is what you have already done?

    Hello, I have purchased my domain http://www.hellobygones.com from you. I have built my website on Weebly.com. I need you to point my domain to the following IP: 199.34.228.58

    Hi there, I already updated your domain’s DNS based on the instructions you sent yesterday, which had the IP address as 199.34.228.59.

    The IP address you’ve given me now is slightly different, 199.34.228.58. Would you like to confirm which IP is correct with Weebly before I make further changes?

    Hello, IP: 199.34.228.58 seems to be the correct one, at least that is the IP address that weebly generated when i changed the domain name within their system.

    I’ve updated the IP address for your domain’s A record to 199.34.228.58.

    The message I’m seeing on your domain is coming from Weebly, and it says: “Site Not Published – The site you are looking for has not been published. If you are the owner of the site, you can fix this message by publishing your site to this address.”

    You may want to contact Weebly if you’re not able to fix it on your end.
