Have a WordPress website but cannot log in on wordpress.com

I own a WordPress website that I am in the process of trying to update. I continuously get ‘Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.’ and had not been able to download plugins to help fix this problem. It also looks like I have limited available blocks to work with (no Testimonial, image next to writing for About Us, etc. options). I went to wordpress.com to log in and see if I could find more information but my email could not be found. I don’t know how that can be possible as my website is through WordPress. Any ideas? Thanks!

From what you tell it looks your sites uses the open source wordpress.org which is quite different from wordpress.com, https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/.
To get help for your site, you must go to https://wordpress.org/support/ and create an account over there.
