Having a problem with domains

  Hi,
  I’m new to wordpress. I registered the domain cheersmyfriends.com, but don’t know how to find it. I would like it to be my primary wordpress domain and be able to set it up as a blog with template, etc. Can you help?

  It appears you have registered and then canceled cheersmyfriends.com. Is that what you were intending to do? Your WordPress.com site can be found under its WordPress URL here:

  http://cheersmyfriends.wordpress.com/

  Hi and thanks for your response. I didn’t mean to cancel cheersmyfriends.com, but I thought that’s what happened. Now, I’m trying to re-register it and it says the domain name is taken. Can you shed any insight on that? Did someone snatch it up in the short period that I cancelled and tried to re-register (almost immediately)?

  I have contacted the registrar to see if the cancellation can be undone. I will let you know if I am successful or not.

  Okay, you are good to go again, cheersmyfriends.com is available to be registered. Simply log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, enter cheersmyfriends.com in the “add a domain” box and click the “add domain” button. Then just follow the instructions that appear to register your domain.
