Having trouble logging in other account

I have a second wordpress account under the name Hector2811 (email visible only to moderators and staff) After using it for a few months, for some reason that account disappeared, so I recreated it and was able to login and post on the blog I participate in. Today, I can login and write a comment; however, when I go to post it, I’m forced to login a second time, and the system won’t accept my password. I reset the password, cleared my browsing history/cache/cookies, and closed the browser. I then logged in, wrote a comment … and the system forced me to sign in a second time and wouldn’t accept my password. I’ve cleared the cache/browsing history/cookies and reset my password three times, and the same thing keeps happening. Any ideas?

hector2811 is not a user on that blog, but aoife364 is, and it looks like you did edit a few comment son it yesterday.

That’s odd because I had set up an account for hector2811 twice. The first time was a couple of months ago, I no problems until yesterday, then that account was gone. I set it up again yesterday. And I’m still having the same problem. Regarding the comments you see from yesterday, I just used my aoife364 login and changed the public display name as needed. Ideally, I’d like to use separate accounts, but no worries if there’s no work around. I appreciate your help.

The hector2811 account does exist, it was registered in April of this year, but it is not currently a user on any blog.
Also, when commenting make sure that you enter the email address belong to your user account.
If you enter an email address belonging to another user account, you’ll be asked to log in under that account.

I added hector2811 as a user – in fact, as an admin – on that blog, but I still can’t leave a comment (I can login once, am asked to login again to leave a comment, but can’t). Tried changing the password, too, but that didn’t work. I guess I’ll just use the one account. Again, thanks for your assistance!

Did you make sure that you logged out of WordPress.com first, then logged in as hector2811?

Tried that, then tried logging in. Can login and see the blog and the admin dashboard, etc., but I can’t get past that second required login to post. Maybe there’s some way to delete the account entirely and start over from scratch … ?

No, there is currently no way to delete accounts. Even if there were, that wouldn’t change anything.
Instead, try logging out first, then clear your browser’s cookies and cache: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
Once you have done that, log in as hector2811 and try comment.
