Having trouble with header

  • Unknown's avatar

I’m not sure what the problem is. My page worked perfectly for a couple of months. Now, suddenly, the header image is gone, along with some images from many of my older blog posts. I have changed the header, thinking maybe the image file became corrupt or something, but still… theres just a big white box behind the thumbnail where my header should be. What’s the deal?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

I don’t know what your set up was previously, but that white space can not be filled with a header image. You have a static front page with a Front Page Template assigned. The area that fills the screen on your homepage is one of five sections available on that template, the Site Title section. And that section has no background image applied.

The “Learn how to set up Harmonic’s Front Page” link in the Harmonic theme guide links to a page in the Harmonic demo titled “Setting Up Your Front Page.” That page contains the information you need regarding this issue.

Thanks musicdoc1… I don’t get that though, because there WAS an image that I had placed there ever since I had the page. It just disappeared all the sudden. I’ll look into the tutorial you mentioned though. Thanks for the speedy feedback.

    You’re welcome.
