Header formatting

  Good morning,

  I am adding a custom header to my Highwinds themed blog and, although the size of my header is the recommended 2500 x 413 pixels, it is not showing up correctly and I’m not able to crop it – it actually looks too big. I also have a couple that are sized smaller, but they’re not working either. I’m on a Mac.

  Any tips?

  Hi Kate,

  After looking into your account, I see what you are saying. I was playing around with the header images you uploaded and found that none of the images were exactly 2500 × 413 px. I see that the closest image size you have is 2000 × 413 px. So since it’s off it’s making you crop the image.

  However, I tried resizing your image to exactly 2500 × 413 px (it wasn’t proportional), but I was able to get the full image without cropping as seen here:

  

  So what I would do is edit your image to look proportional at exactly 2500 × 413 px and no cropping will be needed.
