  I need live chat support. Why does my site say thebeardmeetsworld.wordpress when I have paid for the .com domain?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, are you trying to use a domain you purchased somewhere else on your above WordPressdotcom site at thebeardmeetsworld.wordpress.com? In order to do that, you’ll need to upgrade your site to at least the Personal Plan.

  However, it appears that thebeardmeetsworld.com is online and hosted by Dreamhost so it is using the open source WordPress software.

  It’s easy to confuse WordPressdotcom (where we are ) and the open source WordPress software. You can learn about the differences in our guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you want to have your site with Dreamhost, you’ll be contacting them for support. Otherwise, for help with a site using the open source WordPress software, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
