  I used to be able to embed YouTube videos. I messed with my plugins, and accidentally deleted the one which allows for video embedds. Help. I don’t want to upgrade. I just want my ability to embed youtube videos back. Can you help?

  You can’t delete the YouTube Block on the wordpress.com platform – https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/youtube-block/.

  If you are talking about a selfhosted site using the open source wordpress.org, it’s also impossible to delete the YouTube Block – https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/youtube-embed/

  Thank you so much for your response.

  Although I would normally agree with you, that one cannot delete the YouTube block on the wordpress.com platform (which I am using, by the way), in my case, I seem to somehow have accidentally done that, as the attached pictures show.

  These are the only options I have in blocks now.
