  Hi! I have bought a domain, but I named it wrong: I put my name (fernandezhernandez.net) instead of my blog’s name (genericicios).
  Would it be possible to correct my mistake?

  To add a domain, simply head to https://wordpress.com/domains/ , click “register a new domain name”, and enter the domain you wish to use in the box.Then just follow the instructions that appear to register your domain.

  Hi! But I have already a domain… Fernandezhernandez.net. I would LIKE to change its name to Genericidios.net. Would it be possible?

  The refund period for domains is 48 hours from registration.

  However, it appears that you registered genericidios.com and then canceled it and received a refund. Was that what you were trying to do?

  No, that was another silly thing of mine :( I was trying to solve the situation with more money, but I got to the conclusión that I have to be ‘punished’ for being stupid so I am going to stay all year long with the tools I’ve already got. The fact is I bought an upgrade for my blog (99$) but, instead of using the free domain with the blog I’ve already got, I though of using it to host a new blog with my personal portfolio. But when I tried to link that domain I named fernandezhernandez.net to that new blog (fernandezhernandez.wordpress.com), I could not do it. It seems I can only link the domain with genericidios.wordpress.com. Problem: I need to keep genericidios as a name of the blog (it is not popular but almost). So I was wondering if I could change to genericidios. And that is the sad story of my silliness.

  I can make that switch for you easily. Just let me know and fernandezhernandez.net will point to fernandezhernandez.wordpress.com.
