Help adding a bullet list to text in WordPress

    Hi – I want to add a simple bulleted list with text to one of my pages on my website but cannot figure out how to do it. Someone built it for me in the past and the only thing I see is what I think it is html and it’s all gibberish to me. Would love some help! Txs

    Hi there,

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

    That said, bulleted lists is a built-in feature of the WordPress software. If you’re using the most recent version of WordPress (which you should), just type /list on a new line in the editor to create a list block, and add your items to the list.

    Or if you’re still using the classic editor, there’s a List button in the editor toolbar, exactly like you’ll see in most word processors, that you can use to insert bulleted lists.
