Help, blog not posting properly since WP site upgrade

  Hi There
  Ever since WP updated the blog site, I’ve had a lot of trouble actually posting to my blog. Most of the posts now only show as continually saving or publishing with nothing actually happening. My browser is up to date (using Firefox). I’m not sure what’s wrong but it’s def been occurring since the WP site upgrades… any insight would be great!

  Hi there, thanks for getting back to me. My browser automatically clears the cache and cookies. I create new posts via a link like this (the ** is replaced by an 8-digit number)

  This sounds a lot like an issue we fixed a couple of weeks ago right after the new editor was released. Could you manually clear your cache and cookies just to make sure there’s nothing accidentally lingering?

  Right now I found a workaround in that I can enable the prior version of editor by clicking on the dashboard link..

  It’s true. You can still access the old editor that way. If you’re still seeing issues with the new editor, we’d love to hear about it though. We want to get that fixed up.

  Let me know if clearing your cache didn’t work.

  Alas, I still have the same issue.. I manually cleared the cache and recent history and my post using the new editor show as continually saving or that beep boop thing.

  Happy to use the workaround shortcut to the old editor but still seems sort of odd. Maybe its my laptop configuration or something that is incompatible with the new WP editor. I’m using the latest edition of Firefox on a Max OS X 10.5.8.

  Thanks for letting me know. Definitely use the workaround for your post in the meantime, but I’d love to get some more information so we can nail down what’s happening here and get the developers to take a look if needed.

  Can you make sure that you have third party cookies enabled by visiting here:

  Preview Problems and Third-Party Cookies

  And do you see the same behavior in other browsers on the same computer, like Safari?
