Help! Can’t remove white page/post background from theme

I’ve tried all kinds of CSS codes. Finally found one that creates the transparent layover in Storytime theme that I wanted. However, client wants no background at all. I don’t know what else to try in custom CSS. How do I remove the white page/post background? Site is https://marybajus.com/. (It’s an extremely simple site at this elderly client’s request.)

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
