Help! Deadline coming up

    I can no longer pay to afford my domain, but I want to keep the website/content accessible. Can I give up my domain and switch to .wordpress.com?

    Hi there,

    What is the domain? If the site is hosted with us, it will automatically revert to the free WordPress.com address if you remove the domain, but the account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any domain upgrades with us.

    If you’re referring to a WordPress site hosted somewhere else, you can migrate your content to a new or existing WordPress.com site in your account. In your site’s dashboard, go to Tools ->Export and create an export file. You’ll then be able to import that on any WordPress.com site in your account at My Site ->Tools ->Import:
