I want to keep my poems on a separate thing to my blog, but for people to see a link or similar to each of them. Do I do a separate site for my poetry? And can I link them?

I want to keep my poems on a separate thing to my blog, but for people to see a link or similar to each of them.
If you want to publish each poem as a separate post, then there’s no way to exclude them from the blog page, which displays all posts. However, you may use categories to create separate archives pages for the poems. For example, add the category “poem” or “poems” to every post containing a poem and the category page https://boyseyboy.wordpress.com/category/poem (or ‘/poems’) will be automatically created. This dynamic archives page will display only those posts with the corresponding category assigned. You could include a link (or links) to the category page (or pages) in a custom menu. Links to individual poems may be included as sub-menu items in a drop-down menu under the parent category menu item, as described in the Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus section of the Custom Menus support page.

Do you mean link the poems together, or link two separate sites together?

That’s good help! I wondered whether I needed a separate site, but if I don’t then that’s cool. It was the sites I thought I had to link together rather than the poems. Knowing all I have to do is just do a category thing makes sense. Thank you!
