Help! LINK, not upload, document

    Hi- I have linked to documents in the past but either something has changed or I’ve gone nuts. The only thing I can see to click is the “upload image” but I don’t want my document IN my post, I only want people to click the link and THEN upload the document to their computer. Has something changed? Can someone humor me by telling me where to find the “insert link” button that does NOT take me to hyperlink URL addresses but allows me to browse my computer?? Thank you!

    I think you’re getting your terms mixed up. UPloading is taking a document from your computer and putting the document somewhere online so it can be accessed. DOWNloading is accessing that document and putting it on your computer. You must upload a document before it can be accessed by your readers. You do that via the Upload Media button; the far right, star-shaped icon is Upload Media. If you do not see the Browse window there, click on the words Browser Uploader and you will be able to find it.
