Hi there,
I see that your website at oncarrot.com is hosted by a different website hosting provider. You can point the domain you registered here at WordPress.com to a different website hosting provider by following this guide: Change name servers
If you have any questions about this, please let me know!

Yes. But I tried to first do it through links. Then I went to domain manager. I went to add name serve but it doesn’t seem to be working. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Is there an example that I can see? Do I add the name of the website? It says add CNAME but that isn’t working.

These are the instructions:
Step 1: Edit Your Domain DNS Settings
Important: You’ll need to login on the website where you purchased the domain (i.e. GoDaddy, 1and1, EveryDNS, etc.) If you have trouble logging in, please contact your domain hosts support service.:
Login to the website where you purchased your domain name from
Go to DNS Manager/Overview
Select your Domain
Find and click on Add CNAME
Where a blank field requests an alias, type or name, add the characters www
For the next field titled either hosts, address or points to, use oncarrot.com
If anything is unclear, call your domain support, this is a very standard requestOR Domain Specific Help in Setting up CNAMES
Pick from the following for CNAME help articles for your specific Domain Host:
GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hover, Name.com
DON’T FORGET TO RETURN TO DO STEP 3*At this point, you may need to wait up to 24-48 hours for the domain to point to your site here at OnCarrot.
Step 2: Add the Non-www RedirectTo add the non-www redirect (so that http://yoursite.com redirects to http://www.yoursite.com), there should be an area called “Domain Forwarding“. There, redirect yoursite.com to http://www.yoursite.com.

Thanks for sharing those instructions with me. The problem with this method is that it relies on domain forwarding, which can’t be done for domains registered here. You will need to ask your website host for their nameservers (rather than the CNAME record). Once you know the nameservers, I can help you change them on your domain so it points to oncarrot.com.
