Help moving existing site from WIX to WordPress

    I have an existing site through Wix as above and wanted to know how I can import this into a WordPress site easily without rebuilding everything
    Also do you accommodate the inclusion of a calendar app and is there an additional cost for this feature?

    Hi there,

    We do have an importer tool to bring over your Wix content and you can find out more about that here: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-from-wix/

    One thing I should clarify though is that our two platforms are quite different under the surface, so while we attempt to bring over everything possible, there are some elements of Wix (your site template and design especially) that is not compatible with our service. This means we can import a copy of your pages, text, and uploaded images, but you typically need to set those up using one of the themes we provide here instead: https://wordpress.com/themes

    I’d like to understand this a bit better, can you tell me more about what you are trying to set up? You need to display a simple calendar (linked to Google calendar for example) or something more involved like the ability to manage events or let site visitors “book” your time?
