help on changing site description that shows up on google

    Hi All,

    I recently changed my theme and now when I see my site on Google listing under my url it has a defaulted to a blurb about the theme and not about my site.

    So it currently looks like:

    Just A Platform | Arts and Culture Website
    http://www.justaplatform.com/
    Just A Platform. ABOUT US. Newspaper is your news, entertainment, music fashion website. We provide you with the latest breaking news and videos straight …

    How do I change the text from “ABOUT US. newspaper is your news…..

    Hope someone could please assist me on this.

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

    It sounds like your new theme might be causing a conflict with whatever SEO plugin you’re using on your site – some themes come with SEO settings built in – in which case contacting support for your theme and/or that plugin is the best option.
