HELP or Delete

    Hi i am panicking and need to turn my page back to a ‘Coming soon’ page instead of ‘Live’ but I do not have any of the options for access suggested. I tried deleting just the website but cannot. I need to keep the domain and reset all settings for my website.

    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    To set your site to Coming Soon, go to Manage in the sidebar, select Settings, scroll down to Privacy, and select the Coming Soon button. Be sure to click on Save settings for the change to take effect.

    I think you´ll find the answer in this article:

    Before deleting, make sure you try to make it private. If you did delete it, there´s a way to contact support before 30 days. But it´s not a really good practice.

    Hi @tokenboutique

    I think @delfragni may not be aware of this, but I can see that your site mytokenboutique.com is not actually a site hosted directly on WordPress.com

    Instead I can see it is a self-hosted WordPress site, which are sites that you create on a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc. Specifically I can see here that you are hosted with Bluehost, who is an independent provider of WordPress sites that we are not directly connected with.

    In this case the option we have for “coming soon” is something we have custom built into our WordPress.com managed platform, and not something you will have by default if you have a WordPress site with another provider.

    Instead, you can add that functionality via a plugin like the ones you see here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/coming+soon/

    Also if you need help with your Bluehost site, we are not able to assist you since we use a custom version of the platform here on WordPress.com. The good news is you can find help here going forward, thanks!
