HELP! Page editor just erased 800 words of original content and replaced it with 6 paragraphs of random text.

    How can I add basic functionality using the code editor? Are there any UI buttons? How can I recover the half page of content that your editor deleted and replaced with random characters.

    As a result of the broken editor, I’ll have all three of my sites re-architected for a new content platform that supports basic functionality. This could well put my out of business for months!

    Why can’t I add HTML tags in code view? There is no button to add a link, neither to add HTML formatting tags. IN fact, basic HTML tags in general seem to be unsupported.

    There are no visible user interface elements… anywhere. Not a button to add a media element, to add a link, to add formatting tags. What the hell!?

    I tried to type in an href tag manually. When I did, the editor immediately deletes my correctly formatted Href tag and replaces it with this:

    <a href='https://www.numbeo.com/crime/rankings.jsp?title=2019' according='' to='' stats='' published='' by='' numbeo.

    Then further down the page, several paragraphs (seemingly at random) were deleted and replaced by several repeating paragraphs of this junk:
