We are a non profit in Lexington, MA that supports the children of families that have lost a parent. One of your customers is using our name http://www.wildflowercampfoundation.org and our mission content, etc. to redirect users to their sites. How can we stop this?
I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

Hi there,
What is the URL of the site that is copying your content? If you find any content on a WordPress.com site objectionable, please fill out a report through our online form. Our Terms of Service Team are more than happy to look over your complaint and take appropriate action if deemed necessary.
We’ll definitely get in touch with you regarding what we find and determine.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

First – thank you for the PROMPT response. The site is http://www.wildflowercampfoundation.org
The concern we have is that the site uses our name and took the mission statement off our website but the site has nothing to do with us. We previously used that URL but have since changed to http://www.wildflowerforkids.org. You will see the mission statement is a cut/copy/paste.
We had been informed by one of our donors of the confusion as they went to make a contribution to our organization.
I trust you can appreciate how hard it is for small non profits to raise money in this economy, so seeing someone essentially using us for their own personal gain frankly is frustrating.
Again that you so much for your prompt reply and anything you can do to hep would be greatly appreciated. Everything in whois was “private” so we could not contact the person directly ourselves or we would have.

Ah, okay – so, http://www.wildflowercampfoundation.org/ is the offending site. I checked and that site is actually not hosted with us here at WordPress.com. The domain is hosted with Namecheap and the site is hosted with Oracle:
https://whois.domaintools.com/wildflowercampfoundation.org
You would need to reach out and file a complaint directly with them in order to address this particular issue.
I am unsure about contacting Oracle, unfortunately. But hopefully, you can find the right department to reach out to for them.
Hope this helps.
