Help to disable two step authentication

  Fed up! My mobile authenticator isn’t working and I can’t figure out how to revive it, so I’m trying to disable the two step authentication on my blog (GetRealUK). The only way in has been to generate a verification code by text. I then go to settings and put the text verification code into the Disable box, but it doesn’t work. Help!!
