Help! View in editing page has changed

    I edit a website in Word Press and am not a web designer, so the format of the site was easy–with buttons and easy to understand options for formatting, but this has now changed and when I go to edit a page what I see is a box with the codes and text all together, which might as well be Chinese. How do I get the former view? I don’t know what happened to change the editing features, and have not been able to change it back. Please Help!!! (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com and was only created yesterday.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.
