help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! website inaccessible
-
I am not a web expert and I am not the person who built our website. We are a 2-person company and not web professionals and our website http://www.consarc.co.uk is hosted on 34.sp, which we pay for. A design company, DS Emotion, used WordPress to build our site. We used to be able to access the back of house under http://www.consarc.co.uk/wp-admin/ to edit. Now I get ‘page not found’. I don’t know how to get back into our own website, so that we can make changes. Is there a way back in?

Your site and log in show both fine to me. But as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform, we can’t help you. Support for your site is at https://wordpress.org/support/

Thanks – we use WordPress for editing. No idea if we could even use anything else, that’s how clueless I am.
In the meantime our host has disabled the iThemes Security plug-in which was blocking access. Perhaps you know if it is acceptable to leave it inactive. I don’t understand the role and importance of these plug-ins.
I understand WordPress is both an editor tool and a host? If we were to migrate to WordPress hosting, would we get support for such questions? Would you recommend switching? The difference in cost is not huge.
Sorry, if you are busy, I appreciate we are not entitled to support. Thanks for quick response earlier. Now I wish I could take the drama out of the title, I just thought we had lost it completely ;-)
