Help with a WordPress site

    Hello,

    I work for a company that currently has 2 websites hosted on WordPress.
    The websites were designed by a third party, and that third party still provides support to my company regarding the websites.
    My question is this: If we decide to take over the websites and run/update them without the third party, will we need to start over from scratch? Or will the websites still be as is (until we change them)?

    As you only created this account minutes ago the first thing to do is read the link below and check if your sites are definitely hosted here at WordPress.com (in which case you can ask for further advice from volunteers and staff) or just using the WordPress software and hosted elsewhere. https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
