I would like to add pictures, and the subscribe and contact us widgets to my blog page. Please would consider walking me through the steps? I would really appreciate it!

Hi there,
To insert images to your posts and pages, I recommend following this detailed guide:

In that guide, you’ll find instructions for all the various image blocks (cover, slideshow, gallery, etc.).
As for adding widgets, since your theme doesn’t have a dedicated widget area, you’ll have to use the Site Editor and edit your footer template. Here’s how to do that:

Once you are in the Template Editor, you’ll be able to add the Subscribe and Contact Info (or Contact Form) blocks.
