Help with menu layout

I’m using the dyad 2 theme. I have a drop down menu. My issue is that it won’t save in the order that I want it to be in. When I go to the editor they’re in the correct order but when I preview, or even save and then visit my page, it won’t keep the order. Also, I’d like to make sub categories for a couple of my menu pages but I can’t seem to figure that out and I’m not sure if that’s the theme or just my ignorance. For example, I run a book club and wanted the main page to be “bookworms Bookclub”. Clicking on that would open up “book List for July-December 2018” and clicking on that word open up “July TBR picks”. Do u just need a different theme?
Lastly, is there a way to delegate posts to different pages? For example, I’d like to make a recipe page and have subpage with said recipes but I don’t want to have to make the post twice. Can I make an original post that can show up in 2 places?

    Howdy,

Please visit our support document for creating “Custom Menu”, it also has a video tutorial which will also teach you about creating sub-menu:

    Menus

Lastly, is there a way to delegate posts to different pages?

For this, you can use Categories & Tags features and then add the Category page to the “Menu”
    1. Create categories or Tags
    2. Use the Categories or Tags on your blog post or add it to the existing posts.
    3. Add the Category page to Menu

To learn about Categories please visit our support document:

    Organize Posts with Categories

For adding Category Pages to Menu visit:

    Hope this helps!
