Help with spacing between images/ word paragraphs

    Hey everyone I’m very new to wordpress,
    Today I wrote something and for the first time used images and noticed there is a bit too much space between my pictures and the following word paragraphs.

    Can someone help me with this? I’m sure it’s a super easy fix that I’m missing. If someone wants to look at what I wrote (article #8 on my site), the space I mean would be between the photo of me when I was wearing a blue shirt/ and the bolded words ‘By 8th grade I weighed about 260 pounds’ … and the following picture/ paragraph too.

    Hi there,

    The spacing between the images and the following paragraph is exactly the same for every image you have in that post – 48 pixels. For the narrower images it does look like the gap is bigger, but that’s because the image is so much narrower than the gap. And with the blue shirt photo the effect is even more pronounced because the second line of the caption is itself much narrower than the photo.

    But I checked this in the browser inspector tools, and the exact same spacing is being applied to all the images. It’s essentially an optical illusion caused by how the content is arranged on the page.
