Help with the URL

    Hello,
    I have two themes. vickybook and 144pictures, but I would like to change vickybook to 144pictures and 144pictures to vickybook, but I would like to change vickybook to 144pictures and 144pictures to vickybook. I would like to know how to do it.

    Hi @144pictures, I strongly recommend keeping the names as they are rather than trying to switch them: not only is it several hours of work for you, but your users and search engines will be confused by the switch, too. If you still need to do this, let us know and we’ll provide the steps for you.

    Hello,

    Another option is to switch the themes to keep the names the way they are.
    The only problem with this is the theme Kio does not exit anymore. I would appreciate if someone at your office can make the adjustment for me or let me know how to do it.

    Ah, I understand. Normally this is a very tricky process of exporting and importing posts, then manually changing themes and making a dozen other adjustments, but as I looked at the sites I realized you don’t really have posts to export and import.

    Unfortunately, even that would not move the theme to the other site. There is no way to activate a retired theme on a site that was not using it previously. What do you like about the Koi theme? Perhaps I can help you find a better solution.

    Hi,

    What I like about the kio theme is the way it is set up. People can see the SEARCH, Recent Comments, Archives, Categories, No categories, Meta, Register, Log in, Entries RSS, Comments RSS, and Blog at WordPress.com. I would like these to show on 144pictures’s page.
    I also like the kio flowers, but Fiore’s flower is fine.
    The vickybooks blog is empty now because I am bring something else on it.

    Those are widgets. The theme you’re using on 144pictures does not have a regular sidebar (its sidebar collapses) but most other themes have widget areas available. And we’re okay with you using those flowers on a different theme if you’d like.

    Hi,
    Thank you very much for the info. I was wondering if WordPress would consider fixing the Fiore collapses sidebar. This theme is beautiful and simple. It is one of the best themes I have seen on the WordPress. Second, what is the cost of fixing it? Please consider fixing it for your clients.

    It isn’t broken actually. That theme is designed to work that way. Have you looked at all of these?

    Bear in mind, many of these have extra color schemes and can be customized.

    Hi, let’s work on the book image first. It looks like you added an image to the post, then deleted it. Can you confirm whether that’s what happened?

    To fix it, edit the post, remove the image, then use your add media option to insert the image again.

    About the Koi images, you would also need the Koi background:
    https://s2.wp.com/wp-content/themes/pub/koi/img/paper-bg.jpg

    Then you might try adding this as a header image:
    https://s2.wp.com/wp-content/themes/pub/koi/img/header.gif

    Be sure to skip cropping. :)

    Hi,
    Thanks for the info. I added an image to the post, then deleted it because there wasn’t an image showing. I added again. It works this time.
    My last question is, how to sell my design themes on WordPress?

    I am not talking about the free themes. WordPress sells many themes for $49, $89, etc. create by other people.
    I have my own created designs to sell on the WordPress themes page. You can point me in the right direction to contact the wordpress manager or the person in charge.
