Help with upgrade

    I recently purchased a domain name and website on wordpress and then realized it wasn’t going to do what I needed it to do so I requested full cancellation of the domain name and website which was granted. However, I have now found an upgrade option that does include what I need, but when I go to register the domain name and upgrade, it tells me the domain name is already taken because I purchased it before. When will this domain name be available for me to re-purchase?

    Were you able to sort this out? I am seeing an active WordPress.com Premium plan and a registered domain.
