    Hi all. I’ve got a self-hosted blog (WordPress.org) but I’m looking to head back to WordPress.com and pay for a personal account. I already have the blog attached to my .com account for Jetpack. Is it possible to just click upgrade in the Plan section to keep my domain?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Yes it’s possible to upgrade to Personal plan.
    And you can still use the domain which you’re using.

    You don’t get WordPress.com hosting or a free domain with Jetpack personal plan you’ll still have to host the site wherever you’re hosting it.

    Hi there,

    First you’ll need a WordPress.com site, and then buy the Personal Plan for that site. If you try to buy a plan while you have your self-hosted site selected in My Sites you’ll add a Jetpack plan, not a WordPress.com plan.

    To use your domain with the WordPress.com site you’ll then need to either add a domain mapping upgrade or you can transfer the domain to us. Either option is included for free with your plan.

    Just make sure to back up your self-hosted site and migrate any content you want to keep to the WordPress.com site before you switch your domain to us. https://transferto.wordpress.com/ has all the info you need on switching your site and domain over to us.

    The OP said they wanted to move to WordPress.com and buy a WordPress.com Personal Plan, yet you link to pages on Jetpack plans. Jetpack plans are something completely different from WordPress.com plans, and cannot be bought for a WordPress.com site. Please only provide information relevant to the question, else you may confuse users.
