    Hi,
    I registered a blog the other day and instead of it reading michellewolfephotography.wordpress I’d like to change that to be michellewolfephotography.blog or something along those lines with blog in the domain. Can you delete my wordpress blog address? I also host my site with bludomain and want my blog to be directed to my site there. I don’t not want a wordpress blog, just want it to have blog in the domain name. Please advise how best to resolve this.

    Hey there,

    I’m not quite clear on what you’re trying to accomplish.

    You can rename your .wordpress.com URL to anything you want, provided the URL isn’t currently in use. There’s a guide detailing this process here.

    You can also purchase a domain name for your blog; this will make your blog accessible via something like michellewolfephotography.com. You can easily register a domain name through WordPress.com, if you’d like.

    If you already own a domain name, but would like to point a subdomain to your blog (for instance, if you own example.com, and want to point blog.example.com to your WordPress.com blog), you can map your subdomain.
