  Hi – how can I add the client’s domain name that they just purchased to the site i have created for them?

  If the domain is brand new then it can be connected through mapping: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  If the domain is older than 60 days they can transfer it to us:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
