Hi…..My website has been crashed because of wordpress update.

Hi, so yesterday when I was about to add something new to my website suddenly a message I saw saying that a new version of wordpress is available. Then I decided to take the backup of my site before the update but I was not able to take the backup. Then I thought that because my website is not updated that’s why its not taking the backup. Then I pressed the update button and now my website has been crashed. And its shows that ‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’ but there is nothing sent on my email about the instructions. It took me almost a year to build this website. Please help me…

I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you here as your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
